Birthdate: March 23rd
Birth Place: Libreville, Gabon

Height: 5’9
Weight: 155
Eye Color: Blue
Hair Color: Black
Appearance: Although he’s a pretty skinny guy he still keeps himself in top shape and isn’t just a toothpick either. Because he’s always running around from one place to another he often easily sweats above his forehead, especially while nervous, but carried a small towel with him to wipe it off constantly. He almost always wears suits to all occasions from work to visiting a friend unless he’s working out where he then wears tight black runners clothing. He also often wears his sunglasses that cover his eyes while out in the sun that he always takes off while talking to somebody. His black suit is pretty regular with a white undershirt, and a plain black tie. He also wears black dress shoes that are almost always clean unless he’s out filming. He also constantly goes to a hairdresser to style his hair so he always looks as sharp as possible. He also grows a bit of facial hair on that is kept well trimmed around his mouth.
Personality: Although Forrest holds a lot of power he’s not one to take advantage of the power like others would and that’s one of the main reasons he has this sort of job. He was one of the original men that proposed the show ‘The Not So Sweet Life’ and although he doesn’t credit himself with any of the writing or original concept, without him the show might not have even been approved without his perseverance and successful skills as a producer. Having a history of successfully producing movies and television shows he shows a strong professional attitude in everything he does. When it comes to his actors and crew on the set he gets them whatever they need when they need it, which sometimes gets him the nickname The Magic Man. He generally likes other people and can relate to them easily, which makes him a good people person and smooth talker. He also tries to look at situations in a positive view because it keeps his stress level down.
As much as he treats his cast like royalty, showering them with whatever gifts they may want off camera, he can still be quite a scary fellow if something doesn’t go the way he wants it to. Sometimes actors can be interesting people to deal with and he isn’t afraid to punish them if he needs to. For instance on a set of a movie once when a big name actor was being difficult during filming because of a breakup with a girlfriend and he refused to come out of his trailer for filming he fired the movie star in an instant and only rehired when the actor when he begged him for the part back. This shows he isn’t afraid to take risks if he feels the actor is a bigger risk to the show in the long run. He can also be a real tight ass sometimes when he needs to get something done or a product and shows strong perseverance until he gets exactly what he needs. Forrest his professional, he may have money he’s willing to toss around coming from Hollywood but he expects nothing but the most professional attitude from everybody when working with him and that also means getting exactly what he needs from them when he needs it.
In the end he’s nowhere close to a regular man. He’s quirky, optimistic, enthusiastic, and perhaps completely insane, but at the same time he’s a constant hard worker who’s trustworthy and important. Sometimes he can be to thingyy for his own good but most of the time he tries to keep his mouth shut instead of showing off all the time unless he’s out to impress somebody for some reason (most probably either sex or money).

Family: All of his family is in Los Angeles or somewhere around the world. None in this town.
History: Both of his parents continue today to be big shot producers that come out of Hollywood, much like all four of his grandparents were as well. His mother has always been a big producer for documentaries before he was even born and although she was 8 months pregnant she still choose to head over to the small country of Gabon to complete a documentary about the country in the 70ies as it’s oil industry boomed and as a result Forrest Lee Perry was born in Libreville, Gabon in a rundown hospital, thankfully healthy and without problem. After his birth his mother left the documentary and returned to Los Angeles to raise their only son, Forrest would have no other brothers and sisters.
With both parents into the industry it was so surprise that Forrest wanted to become a producer as well. What really turned Forrest on was when his mother was nominated for an Academy award for her film “Doing Time: Life Inside the Big House” and oddly enough it was when her mother didn’t win the award for best Documentary that he became inspired. He made a promise there that by the end of his life he would make his parents proud and win one of those golden statues in his family’s name. Although very influenced by his mothers documentaries he was always better at grasping dramas and reenactments opposed to documentaries much like his father and learned how to produce those.
Knowing what hands to shake and already knowing half the town when he first become a producer at the age of 20 he successfully produced short films that won a variety of awards at film festivals before he went on to produce big budget full feature length films that mostly involved teen dramas. Although they weren’t big award winners they were big winners at the box office and it kept his paycheck flowing along with his career. At one point he produced a high budget action movie to try to advance his career but the script was a disaster and the movie bombed at the box office, just about destroying his reputation at the studios and thus his career. To recover from this he produced another successful teen drama that brought in just enough box office revenue to produce a television pilot. He made a tough choice with his director to shoot the film in a small Texas town called Drake. In this pilot he put all of his money on the line in what the studios called “A giant mess of Texas teen characters who just pregnant dog and moan all day.” Word passed around that this was going to destroy a lot of careers as the first episode hit a lot of bumpy roads. Although the publicity started off badly hiring the right director and crew pulled off and the first episode of The Not So Sweet Life was a huge success. Shortly afterwards a Hollywood television production company picked up his pilot and he found funding for the show.
It was from that point he discovered he was going to be living in this small Texas town for a while, especially as the show continued to pick up large ratings across America. He wants to go back to producing feature films again but learned his lesson a while back that he should continue to produce what’s working and making money and this teen drama is exactly what’s making all the money right now. Seeing a lot of new talent come from the show he’s silently keeping his eye out for somebody that impresses him enough to bring back to Hollywood and perhaps make a star. He keeps his mouth shut about that goal as much as he can though and has been eyeing actors much more then they think he has.

RP Sample: So far the day for Forrest has been nothing but stress and anybody by this point would feel like pulling out all their hair but Forrest kept his cool around others so it didn’t look like the entire production was about to fall apart. He had just fired his cinematographer for instance for being 3 hours late again, showing up piss drunk, and either had to find another cinematographer by the next day who could understand the director or cancel production for a few weeks. On top of that one of his main actors was having emotional trouble that was effecting her acting and the lawyers office just called telling him about legal issues going on with the show that could also cancel production. Although he got up this morning thinking it was going to be a regular day of shooting he instead spend the day running around trying to fix problems.
Eventually he got a quick 10-minute break for lunch when the production manager saw him run by and demanded he took a break before he explodes. He liked that production manager because the guy forced him to take small breaks when he needed it and really helped calm his nerve. “I don’t know what I’m going to do. This was suppose to be a simple television pilot about everyday life and I’m dealing with problems worse then when I produced that action movie.” He then took his salad and shoved green lettuce down his throat. The lettuce was old and saggy by now but he was so hungry and out of sorts it didn’t even make a difference to him. The production manager assured him that everything was fine and that the rest of the cast and crew were on board and on his side which although that counted for very little at least he could lift his shoulders higher knowing he wasn’t alone.
After that he got a cell phone call that he picked up and learned about a new problem. This problem dealt with financial issues so he tossed the rest of his salad out and started pacing around as he talked on the phone. It was a habit of his to pace while he talked on the phone because it made the room less awkward for those that had to listen to him if they only heard small tibits of his conversation and he could avoid awkward eye contact. “What do you mean you can’t get rent out the green screen room for that price? You offered it to me before for that price, why has it suddenly spiked?… I don’t care if it’s under new management, I can find a green screen just about anywhere if I need to but I always went to your place. What makes you think I should be paying more now for being a loyal customer?” Everything today was just stress and he couldn’t wait for it to end and have a few shots at the bar.
