The library was her safe haven, the only place she could trust. She absolutely loved books. Her job, as a librarian, was perfect for her. Sure many saw her as a beautiful woman who should be out living life largely, but she was content on where her life was so far. Besides, she had been hurt, and it was something she still had not gotten over. She was still aching over the guy who had broken her heart so very long ago. Bee knew she should have already gotten over him, but he had been her whole heart. He had been the first guy she'd ever dated, the first of oh so many other things. Her heart had said he was the one, even though he said differently. It had been heard to watch him walk away, especially since her parents had died not too soon afterwards.
And that was why she had turned to the library. The library was safe. No one could harm her there. The books were her friends. Their stories drew her into another world, so that she could forget her on reality. They had helped alot during the past. Bee moved around the shelves, placeing books up where they belonged. Although it wasn't really a hard job, it did take a lot of time and engry into doing it correctly. ' Just remember, your doing this for a short time...Learning the ropes, that way one day you can open your on shop..' Belinda thought to herself as she began to hum softly to herself. She wasn't the type of librarian who would 'shh' people for talking. She left that to her co-workers.
Bee could hear someone walking behind her, most likely looking for one of the books on the many shevles, since they were in a library, and they were surrounded by books. As she pushed the cart a little ahead to make more room, Bee tripped over an open faced library book. Bee found herself on the ground, sprawled out before she knew it.
